What to expect

A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Your Photography Experience

Whether you’re getting married, welcoming a new baby, or celebrating your family just as you are today, booking a photography session can feel like a big decision. What should you wear? How do you prepare? Will it feel natural or a little awkward? (Spoiler: totally normal to wonder that.)

Here’s a glimpse into what it’s like to work with me—from the first inquiry to gallery delivery—so you can feel confident, supported, and excited every step of the way.

Step One: Inquire + Connect

Once you reach out, I’ll send over my pricing guide and a few questions to get to know you better. Whether it’s a wedding, maternity, branding, or family session, this is where I begin tailoring the experience to fit you.

If we’re a good fit, we’ll reserve your date with a booking proposal and a signed contract. Easy and straightforward.

Step Two: Plan with Intention

You won’t be left wondering what’s next. Once booked, I’ll send over helpful guides—like outfit tips, location suggestions, and timeline advice for weddings—to make sure you feel fully prepared.

I’m here to answer your questions, help you feel confident, and allow the session to be relaxed and meaningful.

Step Three: The Session or Wedding Day

My approach blends gentle direction with space to be yourself. I’ll guide you in a way that feels natural and easy, while also watching for the moments you don’t plan—the in-between glances, the real laughter, the soft touches.

Whether we’re out on a mountain trail or in your cozy home, my goal is to help you feel comfortable so we can create something timeless together.

Step Four: Sneak Peeks & Gallery Delivery

After your session or wedding, you’ll receive sneak peeks within a few days so you don’t have to wait to relive the joy. Full galleries are delivered in 2–4 weeks for sessions, and within one month for weddings.

Your gallery will be easy to navigate, download, and share. Prints and albums? I’ll walk you through that too, if you'd like to create something lasting.

Step Five: The Legacy You’ll Keep

Photos are more than something pretty to scroll through. They’re what your children will look at one day. What you’ll return to year after year. Whether it’s your wedding day or a simple season of life, your story deserves to be told with beauty and care.

And that’s exactly what I’m here for.
